Rin sighed as he looked out of the window where he sat in one of the sinks that covered the wall. Somehow, he felt down, even though he knew it wasn't very beautiful to be depressed.
But he just couldn't help it. It was just so frustrating, to have his thoughts robbed by a person he could never have. Not only was it another man, it was also a teacher. One he knew loved girls. A lot.

He hated to admit it, even to himself, but he couldn't deny it any longer. He had fallen in love with Hijikata.

"Ooh, like a greek goddess." Hijikata swooned over a photo pf a beautiful woman as he walked down a corridor.
He stopped down his path when he saw his young student sitting huddled up against the wall, looking out through the opposite window. "Utsukushikunai.." the brunette muttered, eyes unfocused.
"What's up with you?" Hijikata asked, crouching down to the others level.
"I'm in love, but I can't do anything about it.."
"Hoo, love, huh. In who?"
"In Hijik- EEH? Rin scrambled away from the raven, eyes wide. "NANDE KOKONI?"
Hijikata looked a little surprised. "You're in love with me?" he asked.
Rin blushed madly, looking down at the floor. "Ano.. Sono.. Are wa.. Hai."
"Why? I mean, I'm fantastic and all, but why? I'm a man."
The teen looked at his teacher with shame in his eyes. "I know.. I don't know.. I've never felt like this for another man before.."

A snort made the younger look up.
"You're hardly what one would call a man you know."
"E-eh?"
"Not only are you very young, you also look a lot like a girl."
"..." The teen hesitated, then opened his mouth to speak. What he didn't count on was being cut off.
"I accept your feelings."
"E-eh?" Rin looked up at his teacher and crush, tears gathering in the corners of his eyes. "If this is a joke, it's not funny.." he murmured, voice trembeling.

Hijikata sat down next to the other, taking a deep breath. "It's not. It's strange, I know, but bear with it. Let's try and see how it goes."
Rin pulled up his legs close to his body and burrowed his face in his arms. "This is awkward.."
"Well, you confessed to a guy for the first time, so it's a given."
"You think..?"
"Yeah. So," Hijikata closed in on the other, lifting the young boy's face to look at him. "I can kiss you, right?"
Blushing, Rin nodded, and the teacher leaned in as both males eyes slid shut.

As their lips met, the setting sun gave a bewitching glow to the corridor, making it look like a painting from the romanticism.

The peace was broken when Hijikatas hands travelled downwards, groping the younger, one hand trying to slip into the trousers of his uniform.
"Hijikata-sensei!"
"What, nothing wrong with a little touching, is there?"
"Uh..."
"Admit it, you liked it."
"Well... Maybe..?"
"Translates into 'definitly'
